Out of the corners of our fingernails, 

we’ll unpick the dust

to create a new ground,

a middle distance

on which to land...

and from which to walk...

We’ll measure the rise and fall of the earth, 

and learn where our feet should land...

We will walk

to learn how to arrive 

and not settle..

We will walk....

to meet

and listen
